The school follows the system prescribed by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. The medium of instruction is English. The curriculum is mainly divided as scholastic and co-scholastic. The scholastic subjects include the languages viz. English Language & Literature, Hindi, Sanskrit, Science, Social Science, Mathematics and Information Technology for classes 1 to 10 and for the Senior Secondary its English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Accountancy, Economics, Business Studies, Physical Education and Computer Science. Co-scholastic areas include Arts, Music, Dance, Work Experience, Life skills, value education, general knowledge and health & physical education. Students are tested and evaluated scientifically and continuously.

Examination & Promotion

  • No pupil can opt for subjects which are normally not taught in the school/provided for in the approved scheme of studies.
  • Promotion will be based on the whole year’s performance wherein the students are assessed continuously other than the formal assessment of periodic tests and terminal examinations.
  • Students who absentthemselves from an examination for reasons whatsoever will not be reexamined.
  • Wilful breach of any regulation for the conduct of the examination is punishable by expulsion from the examination and if needed by cancelling the paper subsequently.
  • 75% of attendance of the total working days is mandatory for appearing in the terminal examinations.
  • Candidates who are caught indulging in unfair means will be expelled from the examination forthwith and may be refused admission in remaining examinations or could be expelled from the school as well.
  • The progress report of the students shall be shown to the parents after the terminal examinations.
  • Report cards could be withheld for non-payment of school dues and non-submission of necessary documents.
  • The students will not be included in the promotion list if they fail to collect the report card after the final examination.
  • Absence from a subject in the examination precludes the students from being recognized in the order of merit in the examination.
  • To be considered for promotion a student has to obtain minimum 40% marks in all scholastic subjects and a grade D in co-scholastic areas.
  • Promotion once refused will not be reconsidered.

The academic year is divided into two semesters:-

Semester 1 : April to September

Semester 2 : October to March
